Membership Categories and Entrance Fees
Alumni of NC State
Alumni eligibility is defined as:
a) any person who has received a degree from NC State,
b) any person who has been accepted and enrolled in a degree program at NC State and who successfully completed at least 9 semester hours at NC State in such degree program, or
c) any person who attended NC State and successfully completed at least 9 semester hours and who subsequently received a degree from another college or university.
One-Time Entrance Fee: $2,000
Faculty and Staff of NC State
All full-time faculty, part-time faculty, retired faculty, visiting faculty, adjunct faculty, and staff to include professional staff of Research Triangle Institute are eligible for membership.
One-Time Entrance Fee: $250
Centennial Corporate Partner
Centennial Corporate Partner membership category shall not exceed 100 members. This category is open to all faculty and staff who work at a Centennial Campus Corporate Partner business housed on Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University
- The individual or family must provide a valid ID or current pay stub with the name and address of the corporate partner listed. The company must be listed on the current directory of businesses housed on the Centennial Campus of NC State University.
- Upon joining, the member and/or their family members will have full privileges of the Club and be subject to all the rules and policies that govern the Club. Additional requirements are payment of initiation fee and regular monthly dues plus applicable minimum dining.
- Favorable acceptance of an application for membership in this category requires a majority vote of approval by the University Club Board of Directors.
One-Time Entrance Fee: $2,000
Legacy of the University Club
Legacy eligibility is defined as:
Legacy memberships should be granted only for sons and daughters of former or current University Club members. This category should not exceed 5% of the total membership of the Club. This category of membership can be defined as follows:
- The prospective member should be able to prove a direct family relationship to a current or previous member of the University Club.
- The prospective member must demonstrate a strong commitment and continued support to NCSU and the University Club.
One-Time Entrance Fee: $2,250

Friends of the University
Friends of the University eligibility is defined as:
Friends of the University should be granted only in exceptional cases and members of the NC State University Club under this category should not exceed 5% of the total membership of the Club. This category of membership can be defined as follows:
- Any person who has substantially contributed to the faculty at NC State University and the goals and mission of the University (minimum contribution of $3,000.00), or
- Any person who or whose family has substantially contributed to NC State (minimum contribution of $3,000.00), provided such person has demonstrated his/her continued support of the faculty at NC State and the goals and missions of the University as a whole.
Determination as to whether an applicant qualifies for membership in the Club as a Friend of the University are made on a case-by-case basis and shall be determined in the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of the NC State University Club. Any favorable determination of an application for membership in this category requires 9 affirmative votes of approval by the Board of Directors then present and voting.

Friends of the University Club
Friends of the University Club eligibility is defined as:
Friends of the University should be granted only in exceptional cases and members of the NC State University Club under this category should not exceed 5% of the total membership of the Club. This category of membership can be defined as follows:
- The individual or family must demonstrate a strong commitment and continued support to NC State or the University Club. This commitment can be demonstrated in many ways and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Upon joining, the member and/or their family members will have full privileges of the Club and be subject to all the rules and policies that govern the Club. Additional requirements are payment of initiation fee and regular monthly dues plus applicable minimum dining.
- Favorable determination of an application for membership in this category requires 9 affirmative votes of approval by the Board of Directors then present and voting.
